Vindicia Retain

Vindicia Retain is a payment recovery solution for recurring billing and subscription merchants. It utilizes AI and machine learning as well as Vindicia’s patented retry logic to recover failed payments, reduce involuntary churn, and optimize revenue. Vindicia Retain resolves failed payment transactions on behalf of the merchant, while results for all transactions are passed back to the existing billing system and the merchant’s customer management remains unchanged.

Integrating Retain with your existing systems

This approach has just two notable touch points: sending transactions out from the billing system, and receiving updates back into the same system. The rest of the flow utilizes the existing Client infrastructure. Email notifications should come from the Client, entitlements continue to be managed by Client, and so on. Vindicia touches as little Client functionality as possible. Vindicia Retain implementation uses either the Client’s in-house resources or external resources provided by Vindicia. If Vindicia Retain is implemented using Vindicia resources, Vindicia makes code modifications in combination with Client internal resources. To ensure a smooth transition into production, Vindicia recommends that the Client deliver the code modifications into a standard Client QA sequence before releasing into production.

Working with your Payment Provider

Vindicia is directly integrated with your Payment Provider and operates on your behalf using your merchant credentials. During your implementation, we work with you to configure your development / test environment to use your or your Payment Provider sandbox. At go-live, your production instance will be configured with your production credentials in order to process transactions effectively.
