# Vindicia IDP 1.0 Console User Management Capabilities

Vindicia IDP console 1.0 provides merchant Super Users user identity management capabilities, allowing them to help other users in the merchant organization in accessing Vindicia portals.

Vindicia Super Users are considered administrative users. They are defined with care representative privileges that let them access the Vindicia IDP Console and manage users.

**Important:** Using Vindicia IDP 1.0 Console does NOT enable you to add new users, or to delete or deactivate existing users.

To add or delete users, you need to submit a request to Vindicia Client Technical Support.

Using Vindicia IDP Console 1.0, Vindicia's Super Users can do the following:

  A backup code (BUC) is temporary one-time code used for account validation when a user's two-factor authentication is not available and the user therefore can't complete their authentication during the MFA process.
