# Portal Your Settings

Your personal account area, which provides settings for your account.

| Field | Guidance | Relevancy |
| - | - | - |
| **Name** | First and last name of the user. | Read Only |
| **Email** | Email used to notify you of password resets, system changes and more. | Read Only |
| **Time Zone** | The time zone that appears on all time stamps in the Portal. | Read Only |
| **Date Format** | The date format that is used to enter dates across the Portal. Look at the example adjacent to the field to see an example of the format. | Read Only |
| **Language** | The language used in the Retain Portal for text and labels. | Read Only |
| **Username** | Name given to the user profile, It's a combination of the user's first name and merchant name. | Read Only |
| **Change Password** | - Merchant users can change their own password in the Vindicia IDP app. See [User Sign In - Vindicia IDP](vindiciaIDPSignInCred). - For Retain legacy merchants, change the Retain portal-generated password by clicking the link. See [Portal Password](password). | Optional |
